review 1: For every step forward for Jo there appears someone or something that tries to drag her back two or three. Her feelings for Colt are kept held close as the media hype about Colt and his comeback show she has no chance of a relationship with him.Colt's future has been carefully planned out for him and Jo is the kind of distraction he does not need...and his father will do all it takes to make sure of it.Jo has learnt to be very resilient and while life continues to let her down, she still soldiers on. The question is at what cost.The angst continues but the evolving of Jo's confidence is all the more encouraging to read on. Volume 3 here I come!
review 2: Another great read from JJ knight. I love that these are just a good few hour reads which makes it nice whe... moren I'm hanging in the airport.This book dives a little more into the lives of Jo and Colt and a little of their history in their lives. We learn why Jo has been so afraid of men.If you can handle a little suspense in between books this one is for you, definitely leaves you wanting more. less
