review 1: This was okay. It kind of reminded me of a CSI episode as it started with a body and then it worked its way from the beginning to the end. You know who the body is from the start. Which made it hard for me as I really ended up liking the character and would have liked to read another book about them. It mentioned some previous characters from the book Tan Lines, but can still be read as a stand alone.
review 2: Imagine my surprise- this book actually earned 3.5 stars. When it first showed up in my mailbox as a First-Reads, I could not figure out what I was thinking when I signed up to review it. It was not the sort of book I would normally apply for, but this hooked me, right off the bat. Yes, there is quite a bit of heterosexual sex, but there is also a
... more good deal of digging into what makes strong women tick (in and out of bed, so don't get the wrong idea!) (and all the more so because it is written by a guy!) This is about perceptions: yours, mine, and the rest of the worlds; and how they play out in the drama of lives. So, I went from dreading reading what I misconceived as a smut book to devouring it to see what would happen next, and parts of it kept me guessing to the very end. Now that's a good endorsement for a book read by me....... less

This is such a GREAT read. It is short quick and I love how his books come together at the end!
