review 1: Can't believe I forgot to write about this one. Merely a step-in to a new series, not a lot happens except establishing characters and setting.I think the apartment where the boys will spend a lot of time is important to describe in detail, since a lot of the action will take place there.Chase is extremely enignmatic, so we need to hear more about his motivations. Liam is clearly depicted as someone right on the edge of having to make something happen, otherwise he has to head home (very much tail between his legs type scenario), and so his actions and choices make sense.Chase's choices make so sense at all. However, that makes me curious about future books. Three and a half stars. This copy was provided by the author, and I thank them for allowing me to read and revie... morew it.
review 2: I really liked the writing in this one. I believe there were a few plot holes but this seems to be built like a serial so hopefully they will be addressed in future volumes. I have enjoyed everything I have read by JJ Scotts so I am sure this will smooth out, and the speed she publishes at means I won't have to wait long.Is it her best? Not yet. Does it have potential? Oh yeah!Notice: I was sent this ARC for a fair review. Oh and I have lost my mind somewhere. This is the 3rd time I have thought I posted my review. Hopefully 3rd times the charm. less

I didn't really care for this book. I was hoping for a little more substance.
