review 1: Me ha decepcionado bastante. Aunque la idea no es del todo mala y el desarrollo de la historia tampoco es malo, la forma de escribir no me ha gustado nada.Los personajes son demasiado forzados. La historia se convierte en una sucesión de escenas para mostrar lo encantadóramente torpe y desastre que es Laine y parece que la autora se olvida por completo de la trama, que queda reducida a una simple pelea sin demasiada complicación.Salvo por el hecho de que hay demasiado sexo, el libro resulta casi infantil.He leído en los comentarios que el resto de la serie no es igual. Espero que no, porque he aguantado este hasta el final esperando que los otros sean mejores. No me trago otro como este.
review 2: Meh. It was okay. I have always loved the idea of soul mates... more, but I didn't really care for the execution here. I liked Dev, but Lainey was annoying. He was a klutz, and while it was probably meant to be endearing, it got on my nerves before I even made it halfway through the book. A few instances would've been much better, but not every scene. He was also a little too effeminate for my tastes. I can't really find anything that I did like about him. It was a quick, easy read, that I skimmed through quite a bit, but cliched and predictable. I don't think I'll continue with the series. That said, it seems that many other people did enjoy it, so it could just be me. less
