review 1: 3.5 stars. Has to say this is one of the most erotic book I've read. The idea of open marriage in order to save it is an interesting option. After 15 yrs, successfully careers, Oliva and Alex drifted apart. Witnessed that she'd loose him to Jenna anyway, she gave him 7 freebies to live out his fantansies ONLY to confess and bare punishments. The sins were naughty but the confession & punishment were wicked, hence it's a win-win senarios for all parties involved.The human-slavery case Alex was defending was suspenseful and fast-paced. For being a top attorney, Alex let himself cornered and being lead my his limbido instead of his brain and heart too many times. How can one say he loved his wife, will never leave her and jumped the next woman available? even with his ... morewife's permission. I can see rekindling the sex life by exploring fantansies together like Olivia and Jason involved. I wished there was some anger, jealousy, pain when one witnessed fidelity bc it's realistic and forced one to fight instead of giving in to the eroticism. Alex was a dog...nuff said. That being said, Alex, Olivia and Jason had a nice loving relationship.Overall, this was one wickedly-erotic-fast read but lack of characterization.
review 2: I almost feel bad giving this 3 stars. The writing was good, the plot was strong and the sex was dirty hot! So what's the problem??I just couldn't get past Alex's "free pass" the fact that he could go off with who ever when ever just really bothered me and I couldn't get past it! I know he and Liv had an open marriage arrangement but for me I just felt every time he was with another woman was a slap in the face and truly was cheating on Liv. Nor do I for one minute believe that seeing your husband with another woman is a turn on!I loved Jason and had no problem with his relationship and involvement in the agreement. I actually felt the Love between the 3 of them. If you don't have a problem with an open marriage, m/m, m/f/m, then you would most likely enjoy this erotic romp. less
