review 1: Cannot believe i got to this book so late. It's American psycho set in the early 90s music industry, in it's dying days of huge, risky advances, getting bands because another label wants them, not because you do. Of A&R, cocaine, sex, oh SO much sex, murder, unlimited company taxi accounts and of course DJ Rage. If you like music this book is phenomenal. In fact it's magnificent dark satire with more truth to it than anyone would care to admit. Unbelievably good.

Anyone in the industry will recognise so much in this novel you will start to wonder if there are indeed murderers in your midst, considering the psychopathic person
... morealities record labels do seem to attract. 'American Psycho' levels of macabre meet 'Wolf of Wall Street' levels of debauchery, topped off with Cowell-lian levels of disdain for the whole filthy lot. Couldn't put it down. less

A quirky read about a really unpleasant character and a great satire on the music industry.
