The Willow Brown Stories
review 1: My mom loves these books (especially the christmas one). She laughs her ass off at the "spunky" heroine. Me, not so much. The book struck me as one long fight between the 2 main characters. I didn't find it enchanting or any of that. However, the idea of the world is pretty cool and I'm going to give another book in the series a shot at some point in the future. So check it out if you're looking for a light read. It's not horrible.
review 2: There were parts of this book that I really liked but other parts that moved awfully slowly. The interaction between Willow Brown, the fairy, and Noah Phelps, the other main character and love interest, was pretty good. Noah is both frustrated and intrigued at the secrets that Willow witholds. Of course, there is a "bad
... moreguy" after Willow and Noah helps her foil his efforts. In all, I would only recommend this book to anyone who really likes fantasies with romance thrown in. Personally, I think a good 50 to 100 pages could have been thrown out and it would have been a better, more crisply moving book. less
