review 2: This book was the first book I read cover to cover since college. I was drawn to this book, because I love the sport of baseball, and I use to be religious. The title stuck out to be and I was intrigued to see how the two topics conne
... morected. The same hope Sexton had for his Dodgers to beat the Yankees in the World Series is the same hope I have for my Mets every season. The best thing about the sport of baseball is that you can go to a game you can be a witness to something special and this book gives great insight to all the elements that can surround that special moment in the game, "the ineffable" moments that can't be explained unless you were there. I'm not a very big reader but I ready it less then a week... less
