review 1: A well written book about one of the founding fathers and signers on the Deceleration of Independence. A historical account of Thomas Jefferson exposing many of his thoughts and desires. A look into the mind of a great thinker. If you have an curiosity about the people who formed our great nation, this book will give yo some insight. Its a good read and fills in some gaps in the general history lessons given to us in school. Read this book.

... moreinformation that comprises nearly 200 pages itself and contains valuable addendums that greatly adds to the work. In the end you feel that you have a certain understanding of this complex man. If one has read any of the other biographies of the Founding Fathers" you have a grasp of what it must have been like back in the revolutionary times and the tumultuous decades following as the country struggled to become a real political entity. This work adds greatly to those embattled times. less
