review 1: This was an okay book. I started out caring about the characters, but as the book continued I cared less and less. The more I learned, the shallower they seemed to me, even though the backstories were interesting. I finished the book halfheartedly pitying most of them but the plot definitely ended with a whimper and not a bang. I don't feel like it was a waste of time to read - parts were enjoyable, but overall I feel lukewarm about it.

However, the books contains a little developed subplot irrelevant to the main plot and themes--referred to once near the beginning then resolved at the end--that I found distracting. less

I would have gave this book a 4 or 5 but the ending was horrible. Not what I was expecting at all :(

Cute read. I'm not to sure how i feel about the ending yet. However, the journey was enjoyable.

Lots of twists as we follow several sad characters through their trials and tribulations.
