review 1: This book is all about what and how the U.S became the U.S. Particularly having to do with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I read this book because I have a World History class coming up and I wanted to get background info about the U.S. This book was very helpful in the sense that I learnt a lot about why the Constitution is what it is today. The pictures in the book really helped me focus and stay interested in the book itself. I would highly recommend this book to people who want to learn about the U.S history.
review 2: I am a big fan of graphic novels, and now I have become a fan of the non-fiction graphics as well. This is a great way to easily familiarize yourself with the U.S. Constitution. Not that pictures help to understand our nation's most
... more important document, but the writing is superb and identifies the many contradictions that have been ironed out over the years -- or not! Not a perfect depiction of a not-very-perfect document. But, like Benjamin Franklin said, it's the best that we have. less

The Constitution, with pictures! Heard about this one from Bryan, my favorite not-yet lawyer.

2ND graphic novel. This probably would have made a U.S. gov't class bearable.

Fun little overview, and excellent, often chuckle-worthy illustrations.

Should be required reading for all students.
