review 1: When the movers come on the wrong day, Peke thinks his memory is bad. Until he finds out they weren’t the real movers and stole all his belongings. Then Peke makes plans of his own.At the risk of sounding shallow, the writing in this book was too literary for me. It didn't move fast enough. I kept having to stop and read what everyone was thinking and that puts me to sleep. I do better with more action and less cerebral-ness.
review 2: I thought this sounded interesting but got so much more than I expected. The plot scenario grabbed me, but took me to places I never expected. The two main characters were so well developed I even cared about the bad guy. The main character has very little dialogue, but you learn so much about him and his past life. A good old
... more good-versus-evil story with interesting twists. It has me eagerly looking for my next Jonathan Stone book less

Like a roller coaster: it goes up slow... But comes down fast. Not a thriller.... But a super book.
