review 1: Surprisingly this book is good. I was expecting a soldier love story, but even though the Hero's not exactly a soldier, he's actually a hero. I enjoyed it. Tristan is cute, , he's a bit annoying though. But then again, that's the thing that made him cute. But to be honest, the way the author wrote the story, is a bit confusing. I guess it's because there are so many characters but no further explanation. Looking forward to read Aidan's story!
review 2: Agent I1: TristanBy Joni Hahn3.5 StarsI don't remember when I got this book to be honest but it was in my TBR file so I finally sat down and started reading it. I will first off start by saying I thought I was going to be reading a Sci-Fi romance with aliens and such. However this isn't that kind of Sci-fi, it's
... moreabout altered human males (most with military background) with special powers such as teleporting and invisibility, (with other powers to come in future books I am sure) think Jason Borne meets the Six Million Dollar Man.This was a fun read with lots going on, something new is popping up at every turn it seems. The writing is fairly well done, with just a few errors here and there and a strange he said she said formating that took me off guard when first encountered. I have never seen an author start a paragraph stating "Tristan said,......" although now that I have read that format throughout this book I have gotten used to it, it just took a while as the norm that is usually seen is "............., Tristan said.Ms. Hahn has created a modern day world with scientific advancements we don't yet possess, which is part of what makes this book fun. The characters are well flushed out and you will get the sense they could be just another friendly neighbor. The level of sexual tension is brought out nicely, even though they can almost be considered "love at first sights" they really don't read that way because of the other things happening around the characters, there is some action, some mystery, and by the looks of it we might just get some really tantalizing surprises in future installments. I have already come to admire many of the characters and look forward to reading more about them. This is my first experience with Joni Hahn, and I am looking forward to reading the other installments of this series. The story was satisfying and kept my interest nicely throughout. I would recommend this book if you like scientifically enhanced males and the women they become involved with. I would also consider this an 18+ read, not for the YA crowd.Nicely done Joni Hahn, a story well told and interesting to keep me coming back for more! less

These are the kind of romance novels that grate on my nerves. I chucked it all in by Chapter 4.

2 1/2 to 3. Not real sure of the paranormal element. A little too fantasy sci fi for me.
