review 1: this is a great book that has drama conflicts and plus hope with a great plot twist this book is great!! like if you like sports with drama and push and an underdog its crazy! the major message is if your a team you need hope and beliefe between each other. The genre is sports and drama and that is what this book is about! I loved this book also because I was able to connect to it because it reminds me of what ive been threw! this is a great book!
review 2: I hope that this would never really happen. It makes me more than sad to think it might. As a teacher, I am befuddled by the lack of any meaningful adult figures at the school where this takes place. We see only the coaches, and even the "good" coach has moments of irresponsibility. I just can't believe ... morethat NONE of the main characters thought to seek out help from an adult, even if it was an adult outside school. less
