review 1: AHHH...WTF!! WHAT IS GOING ON???Just when things start to connect and make sense, they don't. As Meg tries to unravel the secrets surrounding the mysterious Greyson and The Private Club, more questions arise. Brandon and Greyson opened the club together. What is Brandon's involvement? Is Katie in danger? David, who is really an undercover cop, knows Nancy. How do they know each other? What are they trying to do? Nancy tries to warn Meg about Greyson. What does she know? What is she hiding? Then Nancy disappears...like Maria. What's happening? And WHO IS MARIA?? I'm completely falling for Greyson, especially after learning about his background. I really hope he's not the bad guy that he's currently made out to be. He is drawn to Meg, and even though he admi... morets that it's more than just sex, he doesn't want more than that. It's as if he's afraid to get close, afraid to love. My heart aches for him a little. I hope they can find their HEA. Side note: the shower scene was HOT, HOT, HOT!!!I'm on the edge of my seat...both anxious and afraid to find out what's really going on at The Private Club!!
review 2: I LOVED THE EX GAMES by J.S. Cooper and Helen Cooper. Now the story continues as Meg, Katie's best friend, goes searching for a temporary job as a bartender at The Private Club. Is this a strip club or more?She has now spent a whole day in the Club doing "tests". She is still not exactly sure what is going on, but it appears that girls just disappear after whatever "tests" and "training" they are given. What happened to Maria? Is she alive or dead? What exactly is going on with these bodyguards? Are they to be trusted or are they on their own mission? Is Nancy being truthful?There is a link between The Private Club and Katie's lover Brandon. Meg discovers this immediately as she is interviewing for the job. But... what job is she really interviewing for? Greyson Whiting tells her he is keeping her for himself. This unexplainable pull she feels toward him will be her downfall... she can feel it. Yet she is unable to stay away from him. Let me just say I will never go in a shower again without thinking of the shower scene in this novella... and in the dark!I still say it... these are some of the most erotically, mind-f***ing scenes I have ever read. There is a new shade of Grey here... and it is just as titillating! I need to remember to ask our author what kind of research she did to come up with these love scenes... THEY ARE HOT!This is part two of a three part series! We have already been told by JS Cooper that part three will be a longer installment. Let's see what Brandon has to say for himself and his involvement here. less
