review 1: I love the Forever Love Series and have enjoyed every book....Here's a review that started it all.... am so addicted to this series....it is one of my 2013/2014 favorites!This a novella from Zane Beaumont's point of view. This novella takes the reader back to the beginning. Zane Beaumont is on a mission. He is seeking revenge for his brother's death. His life has spiraled out of control. Guilt and the need for revenge consume him. His every thought is centered around this ...that is until he meets Lucky.In this novella we see the instant attraction Zane has for Lucky. He is drawn to her and cannot stay away. His attraction becomes as much of an obsession as his need to have justice for his brother's death. But can have both.The reader gets into Zane's head.This short story... more is fantastic. The series is fantastic. These characters come alive and jump out of the pages.
review 2: Poignant, mysterious and tender best describes this series. Zane's and Lucky's love affair is fragile and new. There are just too many secrets and Zane will not share the truth with Lucky. Their relationship is brittle and changeable; they are definitely not on solid ground. Lucky loves Zane and would prefer full honesty and trust, but how can she believe him when every time she turns around she catches him in a lie. This story is about young adults seeking their balance and trusting each other. It is a wonderful and sexy love story. less
