review 1: I was browsing Amazon's website when I came across a category that was strictly BBW romance novels. Now, being a somewhat of a BBW myself I was obviously intrigued, and this book was free, so I decided to check it out. This particular little novella was actually kind of adorable. It centers around Maggie (a plus sized pastry chef) and this hot piece of contractor that has wanted her from the moment he met her. Its cute and short and something that I wouldn't mind happening to me (since I am in school to become a pastry chef and am also plus sized). It gets steamy at the end, and I am all for it! Which is weird to me, because I always find myself laughing at sex scenes in books. I think 50 Shades of Grey just made me want to laugh at all sex scenes that I read. But this was... more actually a nice, subtle, steamy sex scene. I dug it.I like how it shows that just because someone is buff and hot doesn't mean they like a girl with a little curve. Surprisingly, there are plenty of guys like that out there. Where the hell are those guys, if I may ask?Anyways, I think I'll read another BBW romance just for the hell of it. Its quite intriguing.
review 2: This another of J. S. Scott's novellas that comes complete with a story as well as sex. I loved Maggie from the start. Maybe because if the model on the cover is classed as a BBW then DAMN! I must be supersize! It's nice to read about BBW because I do get fed up of reading about skinny rakes who can fit in a size minus 000. Short but sweet story, complete with brilliant main woman, hot main man and a story that will put a twinkle in your eye. less
