review 1: The story was a bit ridiculous and the authors insistence of the men constantly saying that their "woman" is "mine" and said women constantly asking them to "fuck me" is a bit much. Yes they are "alpha males" but it is a little too much at times. They don't have to act like cavemen to be considered as a "alpha male". Ive read many "alpha male" books and I feel it could be a little better. Oh and WTF its only till the very end of the book after they have seen each other naked that they realise they have tattoos !!!!!! SERIOUSLY !!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this story. Max loved his wife Mia with all his heart. When she disappeared, and authorities feared she was dead, Max never gave up hope of finding his wife. He never took his wedding band off in two years. Never even thought about looking at another lady, much less dating one. I don't want to give away too much information and spoil the book. It had great suspense, twist and turns. The emotions in the story were strong. It was a sweet love story.

Expect the unexpected where it comes to the plot in this book. Max's story is nothing like I expected, I'd never have guessed the twists.Max could never accept Mia had died, he wouldn't believe it until he saw her body but that left him in a state of limbo, unable to mourn and move on. He gets his second chance but it's not plain sailing.We find out more about Kade and Travis setting us up for future books.
