review 1: This book had lots of potential, but sadly it fell short. It major problem was it was way to rushed. You really didn't get the full character development. Its a love story you as the reader are suppose to want them together no matter what. but this one you did but then again did he really love her? if he did then why didn't he do more like stop her from leaving. and then that proposal was so so so bad. like really you gonna propose in your driveway with the girl who has been telling Celine who you love that you two are "together". Yeah right! lets have some romance. second issue is the event with Kylie was also so rushed. I mean drag that out give us more heartbreak. And it is fully understandable how Celine felt guilty but that could have been dragged out more too. and th... moreen when they found out who left the gate open it was like an after thought like oh yeah just so you know it was Sophie. Oh please I would have gone off! It would have been ugly! but no all is forgiven. blah!and then we the readers got nothing but blue balls lol. I know that Celine who is gorgeous and french is suppose to be a virgin, but come on they make out we get nipple sucking then nothing! you could have at least given us the honeymoon night! So unless you are just looking for something to do I wouldn't waste my time. This is the first in this series that I have read and from this one I highly doubt I will read any of the rest. We the readers need more... more of everything. Plan the story out more, make them longer, that will give better stories.
review 2: Really quick read. Very touching, but the story fell flat for me. This was not at all what I would consider 'bad boy romance'. It also was not about a maid. The h was a maid for the first two pages, at which point she took a job as a nanny. (She is also from France but is studing in the States). So at first glance, the title is quite misleading. I finished this book in about an hour, as I kept turning pages hoping for more development to the story. Alas, I came up empty handed. It's cute & sweet don't get me wrong, but don't lump it in with 'bad boy romance' and leave me hanging with no 'nooky'. ;) less

Meh. I should've known better! Fairly average and predictable, Maid in the U.S.A. by author Judy Angelo gave me a toothache. And I'm already hurting just had two wisdom teeth surgically removed and damn am I in pain, just sayin' and this book though rather short lived is sappy sweet. Just dripping. I took a chance, did not particularly care for the ending either no spoilers. Just not up my alley, I'll mosey on the other way.

2.5 stars at best.It was a quick read and I found myself just wanted to get through it. The characters weren't that developed and I never had that connection where I wanted to know what was going to happen to them. The ending made me roll my eyes - it was like the author wanted to roll everything up in one neat little bow without wasting any more time on character or plot development. Not a fan of this one.
