review 1: This is a very nice love story. I had a hard time deciding between 3 and 4 stars. The story was nice but the ending was very weak. Everything worked out to perfectly. I also didn't like that all the misfortune seemed to happen to the girl alone. That brings in the "woe is me" mentality and I don't like that. But overall it was a very decent book. Nothing even slightly erotic. It certainly is a proper romance.
review 2: I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and if you are a Jane Austen fan you will as well. There was good humor in the dialogue and both of the main characters were utterly lovable. I was completely captivated and found myself wearing a huge goofy grin practically swooning by the end and it reminded me very much of the first time I watched Pride and Prej... moreudice and Mr. Darcy finally declared his love for Ms. Bennett. This is a gem I will read over and over again! less
