review 1: I went back and forth between giving this book 2 1/2 and 3 stars. I had some conflicting emotions with this story. First off, I find it hard to believe that Sophie would let a complete stranger corner her in a bathroom and call her a slut and let him bring her to orgasm. His behavior towards her was demeaning. Now I know some women like that sort of thing and I'm not knocking it, but if I had a little more background on Sophie, maybe I could have understood her actions better. She attributed her submission to her overwhelming desire for Alex but that was just too unbelievable since he was a stranger. More character development was needed for both characters, especially Alex. The other problem I had was that Sophie was willing to accept her new position at work, know... moreing she wouldn't be actually using the skills she acquired from her recent schooling, but she would actually be Alex's personal walking, talking vagina. How could someone be OK with that? If their sexual relationship was outside of the office or if Alex actually took her seriously during work hours and treated her as a professional, I would have also been OK with that. There were some jaw dropping moments I enjoyed, which caught me completely off guard, in a good way, but it just wasn't enough for me. I think this story has potential, but I think the author went about the plot in the wrong way. Alex doesn't even seem like he likes Sophie. I would like to learn more about these characters and I'm hoping that they come to life in the next book, but I'm not so sure I want to pay $2.99 for a 30 page book. I think that's very expensive for such a short story. For a freebie, this was so-so, but again, it has potential.
review 2: First of all,I didn't like the writing style AT ALL!And the characters ... Ugh! Sophie is basically a doormat ... And I didn't care for Alex one bit...Plus hello sexual harassment ...I mean there is dominating and then there is this ... book !I'll admit at first what drew me is the cover and then I thought the blurb had potential,so I guess it's true ... You really shouldn't judge a book by it's cover less

A good strong build-up for the series but I am getting fed up with all the series of Erotica.
