review 1: JESUS CHRIST, THIS IS SOME RAW STUFF RIGHT HERE,i friggin love the art style, the concept is pulled off well, you really get a sense of dread from the first chapter, all the way from the secound to last, which was kinda confusing, but thats just nitpickingi'd recomend this to anyone that wants something newand something that will not treat you like a child, read this if you want something to get under you skin and behind your eyes
review 2: Sure! I thought. I'll read a few chapters of this manga horror classic and then go to bed.I was not counting on the fact that I could not put the damn thing down. The town that is cursed by "the spiral" sucked me in so hard that I read the entire tome, hundreds of pages long, in one very long night. Junji Ito is a genius. Hi
... mores story is outrageously spine-tingling and macabre. It also opened up for me the world of manga, which is something I have always known little about. less

Really inventive, creative, creepy story. How many spirals can you think of off hand. Not enough.
