review 1: I labeled this as a kink book but honestly there is a lot of talk but not a lot of action on the kink front of this book. This book didn't elect a great deal of excitement from me since I'm really can't think for a guy with half his head shaved as a cute twink or someone with the weird unsexy mix of tattoos and rather chaotic life as a great Dom. They were unique characters but the were put down into one of the most overused plots and let loose. Some things were just really obvious including the neighbor whom I'm sure will get the big revel in the next book and the online stalker boy. It wasn't a bad book but when you go in with exceptions of kink and come out with a bland almost vanilla story with a major cliffhanger ending I just feel kind of put out by the ... morebook.
review 2: As explained by another reviewer, good book, just not for me. Liam has just gotten kicked the fuck out from his ex-boyfriends, ex-bosses house and place of business. He has no where to go and has been living in his car until he sees an add for a caretaker wanted. He's desperate for a job, and anything that will get him out of his car. Since this is a live in position he's willing to do anything to get the position but wants to constrain himself since sleeping with every boss he's had hasn't worked out for him in the past. Ryan isn't sure if its a good idea to hire this no experience, charming "straight" temptation of a man to take care of him but he's a masochist like that and needs help getting around the fantasy fetish hotel he owns. Lies. The lies are never fucking ending. On both sides. I kept thinking, dammit how the hell is Liam going to come clean about this lie, then that lie. And the only way he can stop lusting after his boss in the wheel chair is if he finds him someone to date. What a mistake that shit turned out to be. Psychotic devotee that guy ended up being. Liam just couldn't take his jealousy any longer, he wanted Ryan for himself but didn't know how to tell his boss he wasn't the straight man he'd been claiming to be. Lies were just the same with Ryan. Only his turned out to be a little worst at the end but we won't know how that turns out till the next damn book. Liam is a nypho and is fucking throughout the whole book just not with Ryan. They don't end up getting together until A little more then half the book and there's no full on sex between the two. I didn't like that for all the time I waited and was patient we could have a least gotten one good fucking, but it was a no go. I loved the disabilities aspects and the one fantasy they played out but I wish there woulda been more focus on the two guys together. As it is I don't know how book two will turn out since the description hints at the two being separated. I guess that puts Liam back to sexing others when he never even went all the way with Ryan. That doesn't appeal. Maybe i'll read book two(?) since things weren't concluded in this book but that one doesn't come out till the end of the year. less
