review 1: This is the first installment in the series.Anna is a housewife that all of a sudden has her life turned upside down. One minute she is planning dinner parties, the next, her husbands funeral. If that wasn't enough, she soon finds that there is more to her life that what she knows. Her life so far has been a cover up of whom she really is. Now she must process who she really is, not just for her, but for the fate or her entire race.This installment is full of twist, turns, and the paranormal. It has a great storyline and characters. I look forward to the rest of the series. I have to know what happens next. FYI: Cliff hanger ending.
review 2: A melodramtic soap opera from beginning to end. A three star effort through much of it, but it pulled close enough to f... moreour stars by the end to rate it such.I suppose I would recommend it to those who like soap opera paranormal romances. As to whether or not I will continue reading the series, I do not, at the moment, know. A little too soap operay for me and I'm not really sure I want to learn more about this world. less
