review 1: This book was good. It was a good christian read (at least i think it is) without they hammering and cramming the Word down own's throat. Twas my first... However....the plot...holes, holes...oooh look another hole! Really he wasn't caught??? After all that, they just seemingly get to continue on! NOONE knew?? They don't plan to raise hell bring in EVERYONE in the world and expose him?? It was a bit too far fetched there....
review 2: No matter what genre she's writing in, Karen Hancock creates amazing books. When I heard that she was moving away from the fantasy genre (after her great Guardians series) I was a bit disappointed but this book puts all my doubts to rest. It is well written and a great story. One of Hancock's strengths is her ability to create
... moresuch believable and convincing characters. This book is no exception. The plot is easily guessable but the quality of the characters makes me want to keep reading. I want to know what happens to the characters more than what happens in the plot.I look forward to her next book(s). less
