review 1: This one doesn't let up on the action either, and just keeps driving right to the end. I was Team Cole for just a bit while reading, until he went all stupid or something. It was kind of hard to pull for him after that. Now I just want to shake him and ask what he was thinking. I just wanted to hug poor Creed, he's been through so much. Not even sure what I'd do to Williams, because I just can't think of anything bad enough, so I'm trusting Karen to come up with something hideous for such a hideous man. If I didn't hate him already, this book would have put me firmly in the "I hate Williams" corner. I liked seeing Alik develop more, and look forward to even more from him and Evan.
review 2: I thought this one was much better than the last two. The writing was b
... moreetter in regards to the dialogue and the pace was quick. I finished this one and purchased the next one which is a good sign. There was one point where I almost stopped reading the book. I have written in my last two reviews that this series reminded me so much of Maximum Ride less the wings. There is a part early on in the book where Meg dreams of wings. I thought to myself, if Meg gets real wings, I'm done. It was dream and (at least for now) does not have wings so I kept reading. less
