review 1: First time getting a book out of one of the "Little Free Libraries" so that was pretty cool. There were not that many books to choose from but the ones there were all varied ages and genres. I just returned this book and I will go back to the library later. This book was okay. Nothing special, stereotypical young adult. It's been a couple of weeks since I have read it and I have already forgotten most of it. I did like her iron arms, just though the whole iron thing was cool. Other than that, I don't think I'll read the rest in the series.
review 2: I enjoyed this read. I've been going through some more serious books and this was a nice change of pace. I also thought it was an interesting take on The Armless Maiden tale. Which I think is a story that is a l... moreittle bit undervalued. I am not sure what to make of the alchemical aspects. And the obvious love triangle (not obvious to Donna) is something that is a little overplayed. But, I read this strictly for entertainment and it did that job perfectly. less
