review 1: I purchased the entire series when I started reading this book and it was worth every penny I just hope I get to see more from this series.**what im about to comment on is a spoiler if you haven't read the third book yet****I really hope that Rose gets her wish and Blake is returned and given a second chance at life and I can't wait to see where oceans journey leads her to loved these characters and hope I will see more from them!!
review 2: Ok, so the previous book, the first book in this saga, it had the intense part down. This book though took it to a whole new level, what happens when the only way to protect the one you love, is by staying away from them?Rose had to make a very hard choice, and didn’t know who to trust a new evil is loose and she is tryi... moreng very hard to protect the people that she loves.Derek is heartbroken, he can’t get over the fact, thatt Rose’s family is repsonsible on the attack of his brother, and yet he still wants to be with her. He doesn’t know whether to follow his, that tells him to stay away from her and do his duty to his family or to follow his heart that aches to be with her and hold her again. I serisously love the themes in this book. The drama, and intense emotions, the ‘forbidden love’. They want to be together but her family forbids it, and his family is distraught over the attack of their family member.The way Derek and Rose feel about each other, the intense pain and heartbreak from beaing away from each other. The words, the description will definitely wrench your heart in pain. I couldn’t help but feel like the exact same as them. The intense emotions, of loss, pain, love, and heartbreak.I love though the connection Derek and Rose have with each, and finding out whether or not that connect and their love was strong enough, to bring back together was very enjoyable. I relly liked this book.Recommended. less
