review 1: This is a serial novel which means it is short and ends with a cliffhanger. Derek and Rose now live at the school for paranormals training kids with special powers. Sam and Drake also live there with baby Ana. This book combines both the Seduced trilogy and The Forbidden trilogy. It is a continuation of both couples' stories. I like these characters a lot. The writing is good. This is a fast paced story. Kids have been dying from strange animal attacks and Derek and Rose go off to investigate. There is a message in this story about tolerance and acceptance which I thought was interesting but not preachy. Even though I knew that the cliffhanger was coming it was still really frustrating that the story ends where it does. Arrrggghh. Must have next book!
review 2:... more First off Kimberly Kinrade and Dmytry Karpov, I hate you! No I really don't but gosh darn cliffhangers! I am in love with this series and characters. The authors are able to put so much emotion into this novella it is shocking. The characters are so real and loveable. I couldn't help but swoon over the love of Rose and Derek. Drake and Sam were a great welcoming. I loved The Forbidden Trilogy and loved seeing all the characters from the series. This series has grow so much more than I expected and I couldn't be happier. This husband and wife duo do a great job at writing together and I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us readers. less
