review 1: First, I was given a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Not sure if I have to have that in here or not but there it is. Anyway, I really liked the story. I'm not sure how realistic it is but let's be honest, sometimes we read to escape reality and to fall into a world of endless. possibilities. The first half of the book, I was entranced. I couldn't wait to see how everything would play out. Taylor's situation with her medical condition, as well as Gavin's, pulled at my heart strings. How could life be so cruel? The story took awhile to build up. But the second half, it just seemed like so much was crammed in there. And the Nancy character, meh. I could have done without. There was enough drama going on at TME. Some of the computer gaming name usage "w... moreizards of CROG!" became a bit over used and annoying. Overall, I liked the story.
review 2: Again, I'm the one person who didn't love this book. I almost gave it one star for excessive use of the words "Wizards of CROGS". I seriously hate video games now and will be deleting any apps on my phone that vaguely resemble games. I wonder if I read the same book as these other folks. How is everyone rating this 4 and 5 stars? I kept comparing this to The Fault in Our Stars and it just didn't come close. less

3.5. Enjoyed it, but was kind of predictable.
