review 1: I loved the premise of this book, and I really enjoyed the secondary characters. I couldn't stand the main character who was whiny and irritating. I kept having to remind myself he was supposed to be a guy too. Usually when he was in the middle of describing a good looking guy or noticing the cut, color, and brand of someone's clothing. Do no men know such things? No I'm sure lots do, and that's fine. I don't believe they would be the first thing a 17 year old notices about someone though. The writing was clunky at times and pulled me out of the story. Overall I think it was an interesting premise with a mediocre execution. Love the cover!!

... moreit for the next installment. When one pictures a teenage werewolf the image that probably comes to mind is probably the hot broody guy. The character of Connor therefore is somewhat atypical because when he is first introduced he isn't particularly broody or hot in fact he is described as a physically average teen interested in RPG and manga. Connor is a refreshing change from the broody male characters that populate many teen books about the supernatural and his reactions to the situations are at times highly amusing. less
