review 1: If you want a good Summer beach read, that will make you wiggle your toes in the sand, and perhaps even do a little dance when you finish, this is the book for you!! This book has it all - a little romance, a little steam, some intrigue, a good plot. There's even a little bit of baseball talk thrown in, but don't let that scare you off!! Even though I received this book from Goodreads, I would have picked it up in a New York minute!! All in all, this was a fun read, that I hated to see come to an end!! Don't let this one slip through your fingers!!
review 2: So glad I read this book. This is my first Kate Angell book but it definitely will not be my last. I loved Jilly Mac and Aiden, Carrie and Mike, Sadie and especially Olive the parrot! She made me laug... moreh out loud and share with my son. A fun book to read, a must for the beach. Barefoot William is the perfect place to live, work and love. Great characters and great dialog. Does not disappoint at all. less
