review 1: A lighthearted, slightly superficial book about three not so ordinary women overcoming their personal challenges and tragedies. A rose tinted happy ending results, almost abruptly but that is quite predictable of the chick-lit/romance genre. The stories are not tightly interwoven but the interaction between the characters gives the book a little more dimension. Not what one would consider a great work of literature and a little unbelievable at points but I enjoyed it nonetheless. A reader who prefers characters over plot is more likely to enjoy this book. One extremely minor point that bugged me was that Rose is listed as Australian on the back cover but in the book it is clear she is British. Otherwise a thumbs up from me.
review 2: I would say I quite enjoyed
... more this book till about just over halfway through the "post production" section. The characters were likeable- even though Rose came over as quite annoying and younger than she actually was/acted. The story was flowing well, easy enjoyable read. Then bad things started to happen to people, as expected, still, carried on enjoyable, then it got almost ridiculous, all of them cleared these difficult stages in their life and continued to live happily after very quickly, particularly Sapphiras character. It was became too far fetched and I ended up being pleased to finish it. less

Not the usual type of book I read. Very light weight and quick to read, it took me 2 days.
