review 1: I have read so many books that I can't recall if I read the Bad Mothers Handbook but the characters seem familiarish so I think I did.I really enjoyed this book and always enjoy reading about mums getting it wrong because there is no one in the world to ever get it totally right but will they admit to this!I really liked Karen as a mum and a granny, Charlotte really irritated me at times but then she reminded me on myself at times back when I was 21 and thought I knew it all. So it was the normal bizarre mother daughter relationship. When Eric moved in next door I just never warmed to him and thought there was something off about him.Though Daniel I really liked and was glad when he finally stood up to Charlotte and put her in her place.I really had to laugh tho with Charlo... morette and the potty training, thinking she would have it perfect in next to no time and he would almost train himself lolA really good enjoyable funny read.
review 2: I loved The Bad Mother's Handbook when I was 17 and this sequel definitely didn't disappoint! Kate Long really has a knack of playing and screwing around with your emotions; her characters are so flawed and human that you can't help but hope that things will all go well for them. I wasn't so fond of Nan's storyline this time around and the Eric plotline annoyingly went nowhere in the end, but apart from that, another solid read. Hope there'll be a third! less

Easy to read sequel of the Bad Mothers Handbook. A bit signposted but not too bad
