review 1: This book was a very mysterious book, and makes you wanting to come back for more. It is a book about how a outgoing, rude boy that has moved away from his town, his friends. As he wants to move back, his little brother, Dennis seemed to made a friend to a little girl who used to live in the house. People thought she died. As he finds out more about the house and its mysteries and why the neighbour says to leave out some milk every night for the girl, things start to get a little spooky, as he finds a diary...This book is such a twist on every book that you will read, as you want to find out 'who is this? What is going to happen next?' However, I thought this book didn't really have an ending, or a spark in the book. It was all the same, every night was the same and they d... moreidn't find more about what happened to the little girl. If it had a remarkable resolution and climax, I would've given this 5 star. I would recommend this to people who love 'who done it' books and really puts you on the spot. Great book.
review 2: Creature of the Night- Kate Thompson Have you ever wondered how to make someone vanish? In this book Robert's family finds out that a man mysteriously vanished for no reason. Did he die? Did he leave? Was he threatened? You'll Have to read the book to find out. Robert and his family moved down from Dublin to Ennis to get some moneylenders off of their backs. There also moved down to Ennis to try to get Robert to stop getting in trouble. Robert wants to leave his family and move back to Dublin but his mom wants to stay in Ennis. When Robert's mom finds out what happened at the house Robert gets his wish. What could have been so bad that Robert's mom decides to leave? "Bad luck to upset the fairies, you don't know what might happen". This quote hints toward what happens later in the book and is very important to keep the reader reading. I would reccommend this book to people who are interested in non-fiction around the age of 12-14. I rated this book 4 out of 5 stars because it is an interesting book and is very good. less

Predictable, repetitive, and depressing.
