review 1: Wandering in a grocery store, Flinn voyeuristically peers into a stranger's shopping cart and is horrified to see piles of processed crazy, without any real food in sight. She decides then and there to teach a cooking school geared toward people lacking basic skills and knowledge, in order to equip them to make better decisions. There are lots of practical tips and tricks, and of course, a few recipes. It's a fun read as she describes the lessons and the participants.

What an adventure and I would so love a cooking experience like that to happen to me!! I learned some great recipes and tips, too - not to mention got the answer to my question of the difference between stock and broth! Great recipes throughout, too! Read it while sipping wine - less
