review 1: I enjoyed the over all story mechanics and the ideas behind the lore as well as the world building. My largest complaint about the book was the relentless bashing of what felt like every major teen fandom in the same genre or genres that would lead to its readers growing up and reading this novel. It felt a little disrespectful to these other writers since without them this author might not have fans.
review 2: c2013: FWFTB: were-vamp, killing, mystery, set-up, revenge. I am not sure where this book actually went in the end. The story starts off by saying that the events started two years previously and stressed the unreliability of an ex-druggie's memory recall. I did have a laugh though at the heroine's self critical analysis of her writing seemingly parodyi
... moreng many of the clichés used by us amateur book critics (but avid readers). Can't say much more than that really but the ironic tone of voice used in most of the book will probably stay with me for a while. Hesitant to recommend to the entire normal crew but the odd member may enjoy it! less
