review 1: I really liked this book and read it in one day. I love the two author's tone, it's silly and not attempting to overwhelm the reader or force an opinion down their throat. The book contains some great dating tips that ANYONE can use (gay, straight, bi, whatever you please) AND is recent and updated enough to mention people like superstar Lady Gaga. The general design from cover to the individual chapters was clean and fresh. The illustrations were pretty comical and all done in purple, my favorite color!! Highly recommend it!
review 2: Read the electronic ARC on my Kindle through NetGalley. Queer is an excellent resource for LGBTQ teens! The book provides a balanced view of sensitive issues without being "preachy" or condescending. The authors tactfully answer ... morea wide array of questions that are helpful to both the teens and the people who care about them. They do so in a way that is empowering and supportive. The resource list at the end of the book is a terrific feature. less
