review 1: This is really a 2.5 but in fairness to the author I wanted to round it up. I went into this knowing it was going to be a super short story so I have no issue with the length. And although I liked the main characters I really hated the secondary. I felt sorry for the hero and heroine, and wanted them both just to walk out and show a backbone. Both had been treated like crap by their families, and both deserved better. I just wanted to scream.
review 2: I really enjoyed reading this. It was short, fun and kept me turning pages. It's really short, so it's a anytime read and definitely keeps you on your toes. I liked the characters and the situations. Also how amazingly relatives can be different. I would definitely read this again and will try keeping it on hand ... morefor a quick pick-me-up and/or holiday read. I shook my head in disbelief, snorted a little, smiled a lot and basically couldn't quite believe it. Enjoy! less
