MARCH Book One, by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell

MARCH Book One is the first book in the March Trilogy. All three books are titled MARCH. John Lewis also was one of the key civil rights leaders who empowered many others to join the movement. Which is a good thing. He also spoke at The March on Washington. He spoke 6th and Martin Luther King Jr. spoke 10th. But this is not an autobiography. This is a book that empowers people to do something to be the change in the world. March Book One talks about John Lewis’ childhood, his amazing meeting with Martin Luther King Junior, the Nashville Student Movement, and their efforts to tear down the lunch counter segregation leading to the climax at City Hall. Years and years ago, John Lewis and the Nashville Student Movement drew inspiration from a comic book called Martin Luther King and the Montgomery Story. Now John Lewis is making his own comics for people to drawn inspiration from.
