review 1: I didn't really get the point of this book. This woman is famous for being popular on twitter? There's a big gap in information from the time she is a health aid in Canada with small children at home, to when she is living in L.A. With her family and being invited to Vegas by David Copperfield because he is an"fan". Her stories meander aimlessly. She's one of those people I can't relate to or appreciate because she seems to have no grounding in reality or sense of responsibility. Not to mention all of the discussions of her children in public forums has got to come back and bite her in the ass at some point.
review 2: Kelly Oxford has a very high opinion of herself. At the beginning, she speaks from the perspective of a self-centered young girl, which most of u... mores might be able to identify with when reflecting on our youth. The bad part is that this perspective never changes. Initially, I thought that she would grow as a person and we would be there to hear about the journey and she would tell the story in a relatable and laughable way.That didn't happen. I would skip this one and read Jenny Lawson. less
