review 1: What to say? What to say?Well, I listened to this and I didn't really care for the narrator. I only continued listening because I am doing an audiobook challenge.As for the story. We have Rafe and Fallon, who meet, have sex, and fall in love in a very short time. They both conveniently have things from their past pop up, or should I say people, but not at the same time. Rafe's past rapped up and then Fallon's jumped out and was wrapped up fairly quickly.Now don't get me wrong, overall I like the story. I just wish that I felt more connected to the characters or could understand exactly what they saw in each other.
review 2: The way that Fallon and Rafe's story unfolded was interesting. Fallon owns a burlesque club and Rafe sees her dance. Fallon has overcome ... morea lot in her 25 years of life and harbors very deep secrets and she believes she is unable to love. Rafe is trying to get over heartbreak and needs a distraction. Fallon and Rafe start out using each other as distractions and find they got more than they bargained for in each other. Their secrets are revealed throughout the story of why they are the way they are and it was well told. It was a great way to spend an afternoon reading. less
