review 1: I adore pretending stories. They're always so much fun. Besides I have loved this series so much that I really wanted to read this novella. Eva is this feisty girl who hasn't met a guy that can melt her. No guy gets to her, she just moves on to the next. She's broken a few hearts though. And nothing can happen with her besties bestie, Trevor. He's a friend and that's it. Uh, huh keeping telling yourself that. It was fun to watch her find out what melting is all about. And Trevor is cut from the same cloth as Eva, thus his players role. But he's wanted Eva since he met her. Maybe he recognizes what they would have. I loved both of these characters and enjoyed their story. And let me just say that Eva wouldn't have approved of a full-length book for her story. S... morehe's not going to wait around without telling it like it is. I'm glad both of these characters spoke up and got things together quickly. It was fun to see the characters from previous books come together for this short and spicy story. I read it quickly and enjoyed it very much.Don't miss this one or this great series.
review 2: ARC Was Given To Blog For An Honest ReviewThis review will be short and sweet just like the book. Pretending She’s His is a novella from the Hard Feelings series. Books prior are The Valentines Arrangement and Feel the Rush. It is in Feel the Rush that you meet Eva; the strong sexy sassy takes no shit kind of girl. Eva has no crazy back story of lost love and feels like she never wants to love again; she just likes to have fun. Relationships are not her thing and do not last very long. Eva has another best friend, Trevor. Eva has never looked at Trevor as anything more than a friend. But then things get pretty hot, and the tables start to turn when she needs Trevor to pretend to be with her so her old boyfriend will stop trying to get her to give him another chance. The story was fun and cute and I enjoyed reading it. The book is not full of character development or content. I wish that is was longer and really would have liked to see this relationship build longer. I think the author could have made it hilarious as well as romantic and sexy. I was really starting to get into it and then it was over. Trevor is one hot sexy soldier. Friendships often turn to love and those types of relationships I feel can last a lifetime. I am happy that Trevor and Eva opened their eyes and realized they have something special. less
