review 1: I would recommend this book to teenagers who are struggling in their relationship because of something very big or very bad. This Is So Not Happening is the last book in the He's So/She's So trilogy. In this book it is senior year and Jack and Ally have decided to stick through it together. But this year it's like everything is trying to keep them apart. Chloe is pregnant and says it's Jake's. So of course he is going to help her. He starts going with her to doctor appointments, carrying her bags, getting her lunch. All while Ally is watching. But she can't get mad right? I mean the girl is pregnant for God's sake. But then he starts forgetting dates, and even worse kind of forgetting her. So she joins the school play and finds a distraction there. Especially in this reall... morey cute boy who she just so happens needs to kiss for the play. But that's not right, right? But then again Jake did it with Chloe so what's a little payback? How many chances can one person get after messing up so many times?
review 2: So this is a drama book. Drama series. So. Much. Drama. If you don't like drama this isn't for you. Now in my opinion the ending was awkward-ish and just did not fit. I also felt rubbed entirely the wrong way I all the characters. I mean how they made up and forgave each other that whole mess... Awww hell nah. And I was very much not okay with Quinn and Hammond. Some things that went along in this book had me on high end so I am not satisfied. But a a series it ended well and it pursued interest an attention or me really well. And a lot of things in the beginning were just right but as things began to work out in the end everything kinda got screwed up.. So yeah I dunno it was a like and dislike at the same time. less
