review 1: Jack and Caroline have been best friends forever, well they were before puberty hit and things became a bit awkward, they start hanging with different crowds Jack starts having sex a lot with lots of different girls Caroline dates but is saving herself. Into their town and school comes Haydon Thorne a really good looking guy who's instantly attracted to Caroline I mean it's not as if Jacks bothered at all, or is he....Oh let the best man win...Now I've only given two stars which may seem harsh this is because even though I feel it's more than a two star book it's not a three star either. My main problem was not that Jack, Caroline and Haydon are all incredibly good looking and end up all being world famous..director, model and actor respectively nor is it the fact that it ... morejumps about and seems abit abrupt at times it's just that none of them are very likable people, this said even though I didn't really like any of them I did want Caroline and Jack to end up together so I must have cared a little bit. I just thought they were all selfish and shallow and I didn't really want to care about any of them.
review 2: 3.5 There was definitely some heat packed in this short!Wish it was longer. Was hoping for a little more development of the story, because there was some good history between Jack and Caroline. I can't honestly say I'll pay full price for the second book if it of wont deliver fully, however I am interested in how Hayden plans to hide is sexual preference while exacting revenge on the two love birds. less
