review 1: I read 'Legal Action' part 1 last August and gave it 3 stars, I enjoyed it for what it was a light sexy read but I never really considered buying the rest of the series, I noticed this collection last night, remembered the one I'd read and since it was free thought I'd give it a go.Since it had been a while I re-read the first book and continued on and I'm not sure really how to sum it up, it changed direction which I didn't expect and if I'm being honest I didn't really like, there were so many characters and I just felt it was trying to do too much, chunks were jumped and bits skipped and I just couldn't really relate to any of the characters, and without giving anything away I just didn't buy Charlotte's 'decision' I'm still giving 3 stars because while some things anno... moreyed me and bits I just simply didn't like I did enjoy parts of it.
review 2: This was my first time reading books written by Kimball Lee. Absolutely loved it! When I continue thinking about a book days after I have finished reading it, that's when I know the book was GREAT!! Bravo Ms. Lee, job well done. This was a great box set to read (and the 2nd box set - Books 5-8 Legal Heirs, too). Both has it all: Romance, sex, mystery, joy, sadness. I hope she will soon be finished writing book#9 – Legal Legacy. Kudos again Ms. Lee. less
