review 1: I really enjoyed this book. It was really hard to put it down, the story goes at a very nice pace so that you never get bored even during the slower times. I like this writer's writing style, especially because the number of characters. I like book what don't cut down the number of character for the sake of making the read easier, I prefer books that keep a good amount of characters like in real life it makes me feel that the story is more complete and more real. I think this book was really when written in that optic, despite tiny inconsistencies and some parts that could have been explained a bit more.I think my favorite character is Daniel and I felt a bit sorry for him at time. Of course Logan is great but there is really something special about Daniel like hidden deep... more down and I wish there was a story with him as the main character. I'm also very intrigued about what happens in his head when he uses his ability. I'm not sure I like Raven, I had serious trouble trusting her, but I love the way the author explained why she was trustworthy even though it didn't take away my itchy feeling. I'm also waiting forward to answers to the Werewolf opened question. Anyway I would recommend this book to paranormal fans, it was a great read.
review 2: Tortured Souls was a nail biting suspense full of paranormal twists. The story was a unique page turner that had me guessing the ending the entire read. It was a story that made you squirm and will haunt you long after you've read "The End". There were some characters in the beginning that never develop which had me a bit baffled, but maybe that's another story? Otherwise this was a great book and I'm eagerly waiting future installments. 3.5 sassy stars! less
