review 1: This is a great book for teens trying to sort out confusing lives. Morgan's mom died in a car crash when she was three. Her dad drinks, her stepmother's not connected to her at all. She has a boyfriend who's pretty lackluster and she is intrigued by the butt of her co-worker, Rob. The linchpin of her life is her grandmother who she can talk to and confide in. When she needs to get away and go crazy for an hour or so, she borrows Gram's car and drives to a distant hill where she can yell at the sky to relieve her frustrations. When she discovers that Rob lives near her favorite spot and has heard her yell, their relationship starts to get interesting, but not nearly as interesting and upsetting as when she discovers a terrible secret her grandmother's been hiding for years.... more The upheaval in Morgan's life and how she sorts it all out made this a very hard book to put down.
review 2: The Sky Always Hears Me...But The Hills Don't Mind is definitely an interesting book. It's about a girl who lived in Nebraska, and is caught in a love "square" with two boys and a girl. Their town is very against gays and lesbians, so they get a lot of crap from everyone else. I think that this book was interesting and very realistic to me because I do live in Nebraska and close to the location that she narrates. I do recommend this book to anyone interested because it is a fun read and an interesting story. less

I liked all the quotes/fortures in the books. But I didnt like the ending much. I liked it, though.
