review 1: Since I read 50 Shades of Grey, I have been struggling to find good steamy books. But Summer Sizzle put an end to my search! In this book, there are 3 different stories, and I assure you that they will make your blood boil! I thoroughly enjoyed the three stories, but specially, “Whose Bed Have Your (Combat) Boots Been Under" by C.J. Pinard. I think U.S. Marine Chris Ferguson stills keep me awake at night...lol! If you want a read that will make you sweat, I would totally recommend this crafty book!
review 2: This book is made up of three short stories by the different authors with a bunch of excerts thrown in. I really enjoyed the first two stories by K.L. Middleton and LR Potter but thought the last one "Whose Bed Have Your (Combat) Boots Been Under" by C.... moreJ. Pinard was fairly awful. I mean it was really bad. Poor writing style. Flat unlikable characters. No chemistry or emotions. I'm definitely not going to read anything from her in the future. I feel bad because the first two stories would have gotten better reviews as individual books but the last story really brought down the quality of the book as a whole. less
