review 1: This book inspires. It inspired me as an adult. I can only imagine how it would inspire a child. Kobi Yamada's decision to personify an idea was genius. To have it take the form of an egg was even better. As the reader's curiosity in the story grows, the character's idea grows. It gets bigger and bigger until finally it is released for everyone to appreciate it, as the reader appreciates the story. It is a wonderful book for a child who is a little stumped or a child with a wild imagination. It spans all generations and ways of thinking.
review 2: First, the title put into a question draws in readers who are curious. I was definitley curious about what people might do with an idea. Second, the illustrations are beautiful, creative and imaginative. I love the in... moretention of gray scale to color through the book. really puts motion into the book despite a lack of interesting plot. however, children. and adults will be motivated to mostly believe in themselves. less
